Position Description Templates

Generic, name-free templates for every seat at APB Strategy — the two career tracks plus the leadership capstone. Used for annual PD signing, new-hire onboarding, and as the canonical structure for any role at the firm. Compensation is documented separately in each individual's offer letter or shareholder instruments — these templates carry the role scope, performance standards, and frameworks only.

How to use

Open the template for the role being issued. Replace every [Square Bracket] placeholder with the individual's details (name, desk, vertical, dates, numbers). Keep or remove the OPTIONAL sections based on what applies (Desk Lead overlay, Backup Sourcer, DLiT, etc. — each is clearly marked with both an HTML comment and a visible amber banner). Attach the compensation framework as Section 09 before signing. Templates are signed annually.

Consultant Track · 360
Consultant Track
APB's client-facing, full-cycle (360) recruiters. Three tiers — Executive Consultant → Senior Consultant → Principal Consultant — with optional Desk Lead overlays. Owns the client and the Job Order; hands the candidate side off to an allocated Talent Partner.

Talent Partner Track · Delivery
Talent Partner Track
Candidate-only delivery — Source · Screen · Set. Three tiers — Talent Partner → Senior Talent Partner → Team Leader. Allocated to a consultant's Job Order; hands the candidate back after the first interview. Consolidates the former EC (PH) and Senior Specialist roles into one legible track.
3-floor model · Activity · Quality · 24-hour SLA · 0.5% desk-cash-above-budget share
Leadership · Capstone
Managing Director
The firm's leadership seat — above both tracks, not a tier on either. Three Pillars (Full P&L Ownership · Staffing & Team Building · Process Development & Execution). Optional overlays for Director, Operations, Accounts, and interim Desk Lead. Firm-level KPIs only — no personal placement target, no PM section.

How issuing a PD works at APB

The flow from generic template to signed, named PD — used for both new-hire onboarding and annual re-signing.

Open the right template
Pick the track (Consultant Track / Talent Partner Track) or the Managing Director capstone. Each template links above.

Fill placeholders + overlays
Replace every [bracket] with the individual's details. Keep or remove the OPTIONAL sections based on the seat.

Attach Section 09 comp
Add the compensation framework from the offer letter / employment contract as Section 09 before issuing.

Sign annually
PD is signed at issue + re-signed every annual review (April). Material changes are issued as a revised PD with a new effective date.
